Though two of us were familiar with this respected, hip shop from years of having worked downtown, two were new to it.   And all of us were disappointed that the music system felt extra loud this morning, making a relaxed conversation a challenge.   The layout and ambiance resemble a long, well lit, lively, artful corridor.    Thus, while Stumptown has successfully overcome the challenge of breathing life into a long rectangle, it now has to work with its staff to reduce the decibels.   128 SW 3rd    http://www.stumptowncoffee.com
