One of our favorites since first visiting in 2011.   Today 4 of us returned to send-off E, who’s heading back east for a 9 month fellowship.   We admire the craftsmanship of Woodlawn’s transition into a bakery – particularly the carpentry work in its counter/tables/seats – as well as the craftsmanship of its pastries.   We also admire the early investment the bakery made in what once was a marginal neighborhood.      808 NE Dekum   http://woodlawncoffee.com
